We are currently looking for a Accounting Clerk eager to join our team of elite hospitality professionals who redefine luxury service and guest experience on a daily basis.

EXPERIENCE

  • Post secondary education in Business and/or Accounting
  • Must have solid experience with cash tips
  • Ability to multi-task, attention to details
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Maintain good working relationship and professional attitude with all hotel guest, colleagues and suppliers
  • Self-motivated, results and team oriented
  • Strong computer and systems skills including but not limited to applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, PMS and Sage 50 accounting software
  • Hotel Experience is an asset
  • Availability: Part time, 3 days per week (Must be available Thursday, flexible for the other 2 shifts)
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: From $24.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Process weekly cash tips and to reconcile monthly float count
  • Prepare weekly bank deposits
  • Enter monthly Accounts Payables on Sage 50 accounting software
  • Review daily audit documents, provide support to internal team members as required to address errors and/or changes in process
  • Respond to client inquiries on dining charges
  • Assist with Accounts Receivables
  • Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by controller
  • Vacation coverage for various account functions
