We are in search of a dedicated and meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, United States. The role primarily revolves around utilizing the Company’s ERP System to manage various accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. This role is a stepping stone to professional growth and advancement in the field of accounting.

• Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing.
• Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and recording of receipts.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data through general ledger entries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Work with other team members to ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.
• Provide assistance during the annual audit process by providing documentation and support related to transactions and records.
• Maintain well-organized and up-to-date financial records within ERP platform.
• Offer assistance and support to colleagues within the accounting team as needed.
• Utilize various accounting software effectively to navigate and perform various tasks.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Billing processes
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks
• Experience with Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of General Ledger procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field preferred.
