Squamish Toyota is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk for our growing car dealership. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and diligent with excellent organizational skills. This person will report to the Controller.

The responsibilities will include the following:

• Post monthly accounts payable invoices and generate payments.
• Post cash receipts and prepare a daily bank deposit.
• Manage the accounting posting for parts and service work orders.
• Follow-up on parts and service receivables.
• Posting of new vehicle invoices into inventory.
• Reconciling various balance sheet accounts.
• Reconcile monthly credit card statements.
• Filing.
• Other financial duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years accounting experience, preferably in an automotive dealership.
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds Dealer Management System would be beneficial.
• Has completed some courses in professional accounting program.
• Experience with Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel.
