A bit more about this role: The finance department supports the entire Tires Easy organization across several websites and marketplaces. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for supporting all accounting services and functions including billing, reporting and analytics, policy review, and process improvement. You will work in an entrepreneurial environment where we are constantly looking to improve our processes and to develop better ways to serve our customers. Eligibility Requirements Education experience: BA degree or equivalent Availability to work full USA hour shifts in EST/CST/or PST time zones Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English Work experience: A minimum of 1 year experience as an accountant High speed Wi-Fi connection Must not have had any disciplinary actions regarding attendance, conduct and/or performance in the past 90 days, and must not be approaching such action Must have a reliable working computer to use. Company equipment will be re-evaluated after 6 weeks of employment. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Reconciliation of vendor invoices with proper general ledger codes Working directly with vendors to resolve issues Accounts Payable research and reconciliation Maintenance of accurate invoices and payables Assistance in maintaining policies and procedures relating to collections Resolution of any query issues according to defined policies and procedures Liaising, as necessary, with internal and external parties Clerical support, including proper documentation with vendor invoices Attributes to success: Strong communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask High level of organizational skills Self motivated Comfort working in a dynamic environment Adaptability; processes and workflows may change as we look to improve both the customer experience and your experience as a member of the team Desired skills & experience: Experience with Google Workspace products Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel/Microsoft products Experience using QuickBooks Experience in data processing Ability to learn/work with multiple systems and data sources You’re a great team member with a can-do attitude; you’re self- reflective and hardworking
