Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to support our local Detroit, MI clients. These opportunities vary from project-based to full-time open positions. JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks. This role is responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and excellent organizational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities
