Position Description The Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing the organization’s transactions related to accounts payables/receivables, and other administrative accounting tasks. This role will be reporting to the office within our National Training Center in Fayetteville, GA. Primary Responsibilities Maintain the accounts payable inbox Collect mail daily from mailroom Process accounts payable invoices Follow up with individuals on outstanding invoice approvals Review expenses in the organization expense reporting platform Record checks received, and provide departments deposit information Assist with the generation invoices for accounts receivable Other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting with a focus in accounts payable Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Financial ERP systems Strong verbal, written and in-person communication skills Strong attention to detail Excellent organization skills General knowledge of soccer Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission Desired Qualifications Experience working at a non-profit, sporting organization, financial services, or public accounting firm Experience at a public accounting firm Pursue lifelong development and learning Believe and commit to the company’s culture and organizational goals Passion for soccer U.S. Soccer offers a comprehensive compensation package, casual work environment, an inclusive culture, and an atmosphere for professional development.
