Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team! This position will support the accounting functions of a partner company that specializes in vehicle upfitting and ambulance sales. The Accounting Clerk will report to the Accounting Manager and assist with general ledger activity including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and more. This position is based out of our corporate office located in Marlton, NJ.

WHAT SKILLS WILL THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAVE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

• Minimum 2 years related experience
• Detail-oriented and able to process a high volume of transactions accurately
• Experience with ERP systems. NetSuite a plus.
• Strong PC knowledge (especially Microsoft Office Suite)
• Strong internal communication skills, both written and oral. This includes the ability to work with all levels of the organization (Service, sales, finance and operations).

This position will be a key member of the Accounting team. Duties include:

• Entering accounts payable vouchers into the ERP system
• Preparing client invoices and coordinating accounts receivable
• Maintaining organized files of all open and paid invoices and vouchers
• Coordinating and managing approvals of all vouchers throughout the organization
• Reviewing and processing employee expense reports
• Researching and resolving all inquiries related to accounts payable
• Adding and maintaining vendor information in ERP system
• Assisting with month end close including account reconciliations and updates to accounting schedules
• Assisting with timesheet collection
