About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant to play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and driving process improvements across international operations. This role combines technical accounting expertise with process standardisation and ERP system integration, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in both operational and project-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for individual entities under the German Commercial Code (HGB).
• Process and post ongoing business transactions, including asset and project accounting.
• Provide support and backup for consolidation activities in line with HGB.
• Advise international subsidiaries on cross-border accounting and compliance issues.
• Lead and contribute to projects aimed at standardising and digitising global accounting processes.
• Assist in developing global policies and supporting ERP system implementation.

Requirements

• Training as an accountant or a degree in accounting, finance, or auditing (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of HGB accounting and consolidation principles.
• Experience in project and process management.
• ERP systems expertise (implementation or operational use).
• Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in English (German proficiency is highly advantageous)
