UNITY is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced contract Accountant to support one of our clients. This role will involve helping the accounting team with special projects, reconciliations, accounts payable and sales tax compliance. This role will focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting, streamlining processes, and maintaining compliance with sales tax regulators. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical skills, a solid accounting background, and experience handling complex reconciliations and compliance matters.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience.
• Experience with NetSuite required.
• Knowledge of sales tax compliance and multi-jurisdictional tax reporting.
• Experience with reconciliations, accounts payable and financial reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
