About the Role In this hybrid Accounting Coordinator role, you’ll contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of Camelot’s corporate financial operations. Your work will support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, collections, and overall accounting support. This is a great position for someone who loves organization, problem-solving, and helping a business run smoothly behind the scenes. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) You’ll help keep accounting operations flowing by: Managing AR activities, including billing, follow-ups, and collections Entering vendor invoices and supporting AP processing Distributing internal reports and customer invoices on schedule Maintaining organized digital filing for all accounting documentation Researching and resolving vendor and customer discrepancies Building strong relationships with internal partners, vendors, clients, and managers Assisting the Accountant with special projects and department initiatives Requirements What You Bring 1+ year of accounting experience (AP/AR strongly preferred) Experience with Yardi is a plus (but not required) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Dependable work ethic and professionalism Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow Who You Are You’ll thrive in this role if you’re: Detail-oriented - you notice things others miss Organized and efficient - you like a clean system and a clear plan A problem solver - you enjoy figuring things out and offering solutions A strong communicator - you’re comfortable interacting with people at all levels Adaptable - you can shift gears when priorities change Team-oriented - but also confident working independently Why You’ll Love Working With Camelot Hybrid schedule for flexibility and work-life balance- only Wednesdays in the Plano office.
