We are currently looking to recruit a hardworking, motivated, deadline driven Accounting Coordinator to join our Doral based team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Experience, education, certifications, general knowledge, skills and abilities.)

  • 3 – 6 years of experience and knowledge in accounting or similar role
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Microsoft Office Suites and Excel proficient
  • Some payroll and HR experience preferre

Responsibilities

Based in our Doral, FL facility, this position is responsible for coordinating the department with general accounting functions, month end and quarterly accruals, inter-company reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and other typical accounting duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Experience, education, certifications, general knowledge, skills and abilities.)

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Microsoft Office Suites and Excel proficient
  • Some payroll and HR experience preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Fundamental duties necessary to achieve the objective of the position)
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Daily/Weekly/Monthly Accounting:
· Enter and calculate monthly accruals for Belzona Inc., Belzona Global, and Belzona Florida.
· Calculate and enter monthly amortizations for Inc., Global, and Florida.
· Calculate and enter monthly depreciation for Inc. Belzona Florida, and Global.
· Scan the checks deposits to the bank and enter them into QuickBooks for the correct customer. Backup.
· Intercompany - review and reconcile the reports for intercompany
· Calculate and file the sales taxes
· Calculate commissions for Reliability Solutions from invoices.
· Enter payroll totals into the accounting system for the following companies:
· Reconciling the balance sheet accounts for monthly closing for different companies
· Stock requisitions - review the paperwork received from customer service and make changes to the correct account in QuickBooks.
· Inventory - monthly cycle counts to review the paperwork with the accounting manager
· Assisting the accounting manager with monthly closing entries.
Annual Accounting:
· Budgets - work with the accounting manager to complete Belzona Global’s budget.
· File uncashed property with the state.
· File annual 1099s.
· Work with the outsourced accountants for annual audits.
