JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Coordinator to support and coordinate key accounting functions in our Santa Fe Springs, CA office. This position is responsible for assisting with daily financial operations, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping. Ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in accounting who enjoys working in a fast=paced and collaborative environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial roles.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • High degree of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Associate’s degree preferred or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivables, and general ledger entries.
  • Review and process invoices, credit memos, and expense reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist with monthly audits coming from HQ-Korea.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and other financial data.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or inquiries.
  • Provide support for budget tracking and other special accounting projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and policies.
