Description We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and organized Accounting Coordinator to support the daily operation of our Accounting Department. This entry-level position serves as a key liaison between the Billing and Accounts Payable functions while providing administrative and accounting support across multiple areas of the organization. Key Responsibilities include but are not limit too: • Assist with processing vendor invoices and ensuring proper documentation and approvals are obtained. • Support accounts payable activities, including invoice entry, payment processing, and vendor communication. • Assist with customer billing, invoice preparation, and billing inquiries. • Coordinate communication between the Billing and Accounts Payable functions to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing. • Review accounting documents for completeness and accuracy prior to entry into the accounting system. • Maintain organized accounting records and electronic filing systems. • Assist with account reconciliations and research discrepancies as needed. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities. • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation for management and accounting staff. • Assist with vendor setup, customer account maintenance, and collection of required documentation. • Respond professionally to internal and external inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account information. • Assist with special projects and ad hoc accounting assignments as directed by management. • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Accounting Department Requirements Skills & Qualifications: Previous bookkeeping, billing, or accounts payable preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software is a plus. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
