Description Bentley Legacy Group Job Title: Accounting Coordinator, AC Hotel Bozeman Position Summary The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for the accounts payable function, ensuring invoices are processed on a timely basis; handling all the hotel deposits; day-to-day maintenance of the accounts receivable and income audit functions. Key Responsibilities Accounting Duties · Process daily revenue reports, reconcile postings, and verify room and outlet revenues. · Review and match invoices, prepare check requests, and assist with accounts payable processing. · Support accounts receivable activities including billing, posting payments, and maintaining guest and client accounts. · Ensure hotel cash and check deposits are recorded appropriately and compiled for bank deposit in a timely fashion. · Perform general ledger entries and assist with month-end closing activities. · Maintain organized financial records and assist with internal audits or reporting as needed. · Make phone calls to all new billings and outstanding accounts to keep Accounts Receivable Aging in line with Accounting S.O.P.’s and corporate standards. · Assist General Manager with End of Month closing responsibilities. · Other job duties as assigned. Work Environment · Standard office and hotel environment. · Regular interaction with hotel staff, management, and vendors. · May occasionally require flexible hours to support payroll or month-end activities. Requirements Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in accounting preferred. · 2+ years of experience in accounting or payroll—hospitality industry experience a plus. · Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. · Familiarity with accounting systems (such as ADP, Paycom, QuickBooks, or similar). · Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail. · Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
