About the Role Reporting directly to the CFO, the Bookkeeper will oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting processes, including reconciliations, payroll processing, financial reporting support, and maintaining organized and accurate financial records. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial clarity and operational efficiency across the organization. Requirements Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy Process payroll and maintain payroll records to ensure compliance and accuracy Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support leadership decision-making Maintain and organize financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations Generate invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances Handle month-end reconciliations and close processes Communicate with and assist field managers on financial and budget matters Work closely with leadership to improve financial processes and increase efficiency Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QuickBooks certification or equivalent experience required) Strong experience with financial reconciliation and financial reporting Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices Advanced proficiency in Excel Minimum Required Experience and Education 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Experience in service, construction, or landscaping industries preferred. Proficiency with technology, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
