Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the accounting Organisation and operation in Thailand, ensuring compliance with financial reporting including statutory requirements. Maintain accurate financial statements in a timely manner. Lead the Thai tax strategy to ensure adherence to all local and international requirements, ensuring international tax regulation. BOI (Board of Investment) certificate/conditions tracking/reporting on CIT (Corporate Income Tax) exemptions. Manage and minimise tax risks, provide coaching/leadership to the accounting team including developing tax-efficient strategies to support to company business objectives. Develop and drives improvements to accounting function to support efficiency and accuracy and maintain strong internal controls processes. Major responsibilities Manage and lead day-to-day accounting functions/general ledger, support team to prepare of monthly, annual financial statements ensure accuracy and timeliness accordingly with both US GAAP and Statutory, ensure properly strengthen internal control and ensure company polices and procedure are consistently in place Ensure compliance with external financial reporting requirements, domestics Tax regulations, Tax filling in timely manner, audits accordance with statutory regulation requirements, follow up new tax/accounting regulation with enforce to properly apply Control Thailand BOI certificate on CIT exemption, preparation on timely monthly/quarterly/yearly of BOI tracking/reporting, and submission, ensure accurate tax provision calculations, coordinate with external tax advisors and corporate tax team according to Thai Tax officer request audit on tax matters Collaborate with cross-functional teams/leadership on technical expertise on domestic tax implication of business transactions, identify and execute opportunities for tax optimization and minimization of liabilities to aligned with business requirements Monitor daily/weekly/quarterly cash balance and ensure cash flow forecast requirement are met the operations, also support the hedging contract for THB requirement Oversee accounting system/ERP set up processes improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy alignment with BOI certificate requirements and new Global tax structure Establish accounting function goals, performance and ensure talent development for key accountant roles Ad-hoc or project assignments Qualifications REQUIRED: Qualified FCA equivalent Degree level SKILLS: Superb communicator at all levels Experienced in dealing with all relevant Thai authorities Relevant experience in a similar manufacturing environment Additional Information #LI-JS2 Western Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
