Position Summary As an Accounting & Finance Associate, you will play a key role in supporting and executing the daily accounting operations at FlexCar's headquarters. Your responsibilities will span across payment processing, bank reconciliations, invoicing, financial reporting, and ad hoc reconciliations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure accurate financial data and smooth operational workflows. Responsibilities Execute and record payment entries in the accounting system. Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and maintain reconciliation files. Review and track bank transactions not recorded in AP or GL. Prepare monthly income statements for Greek subsidiaries. Issue, verify, and record sales and purchase invoices. Monitor loans and bonds, ensuring accurate financial tracking. Handle statutory reporting requirements. Reconcile netting accounts across entities. Participate in ad hoc financial projects and reconciliations. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within a corporate or multi-entity environment. Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and handling purchase/sales invoices. Knowledge of Greek tax and VAT regulations. Experience in preparing monthly income statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting in financial closing procedures. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial documentation. Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a structured manner. Excellent communication skills in both Greek & English verbal and written. Comfortable using ERP/accounting software.
