  • Maintain the depreciation schedule, including the purchase and disposal of fixed assets monthly
  • Record intercompany transactions and recurring expense entries across divisions
  • Expense tracking of Visa statements by allocating costs to corresponding accounts or jobs
  • Produce management financial report using partner income statements for business partners
  • Report monthly WIP and sales summary
  • Assist in year-end tasks such as inventory reportin

Responsibilities

Our busy corporate office located in the east end of Ottawa is looking for an in-office, Accounting Clerk. This position is part of a team and is responsible for Accounts Receivable and Invoicing as well as performing administrative duties as required to support the organization.

Specifically, activities will include:

  • Preparing schedules and supporting documents in support of major supplier payments.
  • Maintaining accounting data base and client portals through ongoing data entry
  • Prepare and submit credit applications for vendors
  • Responding to phone, email, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners and other parties.
  • Maintain the depreciation schedule, including the purchase and disposal of fixed assets monthly

The ideal candidate should have knowledge in accounting/finance and will have familiarity with Sage 300 accounting or like software packages. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word.
Sage 300 accounting software experience would be considered a definite asset.
