Description This paid part-time internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in finance and accounting while helping participants develop professional and analytical skills in a collaborative business environment. 1. Orientation Introduction to company operations, policies, and expectations Overview of finance and accounting functions Workplace conduct and confidentiality training 2. Departmental Rotations (Optional) Exposure to multiple functions such as: General Accounting Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Accounts Payable/Receivable Inventory/Cost Accounting 3. Project-Based Work Interns will be assigned meaningful tasks or projects such as: Financial data analysis Reporting support Process documentation Reconciliation assistance Inventory count and reconciliation Fixed asset management 4. Mentorship Each intern will be paired with a mentor from the Finance or Accounting team Regular check-ins for guidance, feedback, and career discussions 5. Professional Development Workshops or sessions may include: Resume building Interview preparation Career pathways in finance/accounting Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field Strong interest in finance, accounting, and business operations Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debits/credits, financial statements) preferred but not required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with formulas, pivot tables, and data organization is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage time effectively while working part-time and meeting deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment Must be able to maintain confidentiality with financial and company data Availability for a part-time schedule (flexible hours depending on academic schedule, if applicable)
