The ideal candidate is a seasoned accounting professional with deep technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and an ability to drive results while developing talent. Qualifications Core Responsibilities of this job: Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Monitor and analyze accounting data to uncover trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals; provide coaching and performance feedback. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making. Ensure timely multi-state tax filings and coordinate with external tax advisors as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required. 8+ years accounting experience 5+years managing support staff Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Dynamic leadership and team motivation skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration. Experience coaching and developing staff, supporting growth and performance. Ability to analyze financial performance and translate insights into actionable strategies. High-level organizational and problem-solving skills, ensuring departmental efficiency.
