Description

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We’re redefining the customer experience in the Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR), stadium, and franchise sectors by delivering modern, self-ordering kiosk solutions. With a technology-driven platform that combines hardware, software, and data analytics, the kiosk team helps operators streamline ordering, drive revenue, and reduce labor dependency.
As we continue to scale our presence in the market, we’re seeking an Accounting & Finance Manager to bring structure, accuracy, and insight to our internal finance function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Position Summary
The Accounting & Finance Manager will report directly to executive leadership and play a pivotal role in maintaining financial health and transparency across the division. You’ll oversee essential accounting tasks, produce accurate financial reporting, manage a Staff Accountant, and provide the financial insight needed to support critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core Accounting & Bookkeeping:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accuracy.
  • Own the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Maintain clear documentation and financial records related to revenue, billing, and collections.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Ensure account reconciliations and GAAP-compliant reporting.
  • Support external audit and tax engagements as needed.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Track performance against budget and forecast key financial metrics.
  • Provide variance analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Process & Systems Improvement:
  • Evaluate and streamline accounting workflows, especially around receivables, payables, and inventory tracking.
  • Recommend automation or systems to enhance reporting and accuracy.
  • Staff Supervision:
  • Directly manage one Staff Accountant, providing oversight, mentoring, and guidance to ensure accurate and timely work.
  • Review journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with workload prioritization and professional development.
  • Strategic Financial Support:
  • Analyze cost drivers and inventory valuation to support pricing and margin decisions.
  • Partner with leadership on cash flow planning, profitability analysis, and financial modeling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA track preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, ideally in a SaaS or hardware/software business.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring accounting staff is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, AR/AP cycles, inventory controls, and reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • A tactical and strategic thinker with a strong accounting foundation.
  • You enjoy building structure, but you’re not above rolling up your sleeves to execute.
  • You’re energized by solving real business problems using financial insights.
  • You’re eager to contribute to a growing, mission-driven organization with direct access to leadership.
  • You take pride in coaching and elevating the performance of those you manage.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • A hands-on role in a fast-moving, high-growth technology division
  • Direct involvement with executive decision-making
  • A passionate team environment that values urgency, entrepreneurialism, and problem solving
