Job Description Accounting Generalist Join Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, where our Finance team plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. We’re looking for an Accounting Generalist who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting daily financial operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. What you will be doing: Provide professional, friendly, and consistent service to internal and external stakeholders Support daily accounting operations including accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, inventory control, banking/cash management, and credit & client billing Review and code invoices; match with purchase orders as needed Investigate and resolve vendor inquiries promptly Scan and submit invoices, bank direct debits, and related documents to the Centralized Accounting Service Delivery team Monitor Vendor Account Issue Log and ensure timely follow-up Prepare cheque runs and electronic payments following established controls Maintain self-cashiering machine transactions daily Prepare daily bank deposits Provide cashiering support to colleagues and retail tenants as needed Complete month-end close procedures, including occasional extended hours Assist with daily and weekly Credit and Treasury tasks Support finance leadership with ad hoc projects and special assignments Adhere to all safety, sanitation, departmental policies, and service standards Perform other duties as required Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Previous accounting experience is an asset Strong working knowledge of Windows and Excel Ability to work accurately, independently, and meet deadlines Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated tact, diplomacy, and respect for confidentiality Strong problem-solving abilities; highly responsible and reliable Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with the team Commitment to maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor when supporting colleagues and guests Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
