Description
· Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. · Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. · Prepare financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts on a regular basis, including project finances and progress reports. · Monitor and analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for management. · Ensure compliance with local and national financial regulations and tax requirements, including filings with BIR · Coordinate and manage the annual audit process. · Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and strategic planning. · Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Performs other tasks or special projects related to assigned role and position · Graduate with a BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. · A Certified Public Accountant (CPA). · Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards and tax regulation/laws. · Working experience in handling general accounting and reporting and tax management. · Strong leadership with skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management accounting. · With proven working experience in the direct banking industry
