Description

SUMMARY

Reporting to both the Accounting Manager and the Human Resources Manager, the Accounting & HR Support Administrator provides essential administrative and data entry support across core finance and HR functions. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating workflows, and supporting day-to-day processes that ensure the smooth operation of both departments.
The role is well-suited for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing confidential information with discretion.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Comfortable working independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or accounting software systems (e.g., Paylocity, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) is a plus.
  • Basic problem-solving and analytical skills with an eagerness to learn and grow in HR and finance functions.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a proactive approach to administrative tasks.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to support cross-functional teams as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of administrative experience, ideally supporting HR or Accounting functions.
  • Exposure to or experience with HR/payroll systems or basic accounting processes is strongly preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
