QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be either recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Accounting, or a related field. Candidates with a Diploma and relevant experience in Accounting or related studies will also be considered
  • Proficiency in computer skills is required, with a strong emphasis on accounting software and related tools
  • Must have completed introductory accounting courses and have a basic understanding of financial principles.

.Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday 8am -5pm
  • Half Day Friday 9am- 2pm

Responsibilities
  • Working with the accounting team for day to day bookkeeping
  • Maintain an organized financial filing system that is easily accessible.
  • Prepare accounting and budgetary reports to be presented to senior management.
  • Assist with the balancing of the office/department budget.
  • Handling account reconciliations, and posting journal entries.
  • Assist in financial statement preparation.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
  • Assist with AP and AR.
  • Generating various reports using QuickBooks Online.
  • Entering invoices and making sure payments are issued on time
  • Other tasks as required
