Description
Accounting Intern (Hybrid) As an Accounting Intern at Omni Channel Solutions, you will be exposed to different facets of accounting and finance, including accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll support, and compliance. This internship will serve as your training ground in understanding day-to-day financial operations while providing quality administrative and accounting support to the Finance team of the company. DAILY DELIVERABLES Assist in recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Help prepare and organize invoices, receipts, and other financial documents. Assist in bank reconciliation and monitoring of cash flow. Support payroll preparation and validation of timesheets, if needed. Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and reports. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal use. Help ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Organize and file accounting documents for proper documentation and audit readiness. Assist in tax-related documentation and government compliance requirements (if applicable). Provide support during month-end and year-end closing processes. Perform other finance-related and administrative tasks as assigned. Aside from the tasks assigned, the intern will be trained on basic financial reporting, bookkeeping processes, and internal controls. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or other related courses. Currently enrolled in a college internship program with a minimum of 300 hours. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
The intern will assist in daily financial operations, including recording transactions, supporting accounts payable/receivable, and maintaining accurate accounting records. They will also help prepare documents, assist with bank reconciliation, and support payroll validation as needed.
