Intern, Accounting – Accounts Receivable Summary: This paid 12-week internship will provide hands-on professional experience in tasks currently performed by the existing team such as journal entry and reconciliation preparation, vendor consideration contract review, billing preparation, cash application and coding and other assigned projects. Writes with accuracy, simplicity and completeness. Keeps others informed. Build Collaborative Relationships: Relates to others in an accepting and respectful way, regardless of their personality or background. Builds relationships by identifying and discussing common interests and priorities. Remains positive and respectful, even in difficult situations. Involves others as appropriate when issues affect them. Requirements: The Petco Accounting Internship Program is a 12-week opportunity. The intern will be expected to work within normal business hours, 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday. Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree program with a focus in Accounting and an anticipated graduation date between May 2025 and August 2025, or have recently obtained a Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Accounting.
