Accounting Intern (Summer 2026) Cyprus | Finance Department | 1 Spot Step into the world of fintech finance with our hands-on summer internship! This opportunity is ideal for students and recent graduates looking to gain practical exposure to accounting operations within a fast-paced payments environment. You’ll work closely with our Finance team, supporting core accounting processes and building strong foundations for a career in finance. We especially encourage students and recent graduates with a degree, or currently pursuing studies in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields to apply. Program Overview: This program provides practical exposure to core accounting functions, with a focus on transaction analysis, reconciliations, and financial data accuracy. Learning Scope: Develop a basic understanding of accounting processes within a fintech/payments environment. Gain hands-on experience with journal entries and transaction analysis. Learn how to perform reconciliations across multiple data sources. Understand how teams ensure accuracy between internal records and external providers. Strengthen analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills through practical tasks. Tasks and Duties: Support analysis and posting of journal entries related to bank accounts and company expenses. Assist in reconciling transactions with reports from external providers. Perform bank reconciliations (accounting software vs. bank statements). Investigate and flag discrepancies or variances for further review. Provide general support to the Finance team in day-to-day operational tasks. Program Details: Duration: 8 weeks (full-time) Start date: June 10, 2026 Location: Office-based in Cyprus (on-site required) Openings: 1 Stipend: €200 per week. Hiring Process: ✔️ Application Screening – Applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be invited to complete a video interview. ✔️ Video Assessment – You will record a max 20-minute video on our platform, answering a few questions designed to reveal your curiosity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. ✔️ Interviews – Successful candidates will be invited to a short call with the Head of Talent Acquisition, followed shortly by a final interview with the Financial Controller (40min).
Responsibilities
