Job Details Job Location: EXECUTIVE OFFICE - DALLAS, TX Position Type: Seasonal Education Level: High School Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Category: Accounting Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Administrative Intern to join our Finance team. This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks within a fast-paced business environment. BENEFITS Gain hands-on experience in a real-world accounting environment Opportunity to learn from experienced finance professionals Potential for future full-time opportunities Hourly pay ($15/hour) for approximately 15 hours per week Internship credit (if applicable) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accounts Payable Projects Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounting records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) Help reconcile bank statements and accounts Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing financial documents (both physical and digital) Contact vendors and partner organizations to convert to digital invoicing Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, and presentations as needed Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team Communicate with vendors or internal departments to resolve discrepancies or gather required documents Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures Fulfill professional expectations of all Tri Delta employees: Abide by and lead others in Tri Delta’s project management process and practices. Receive and act on feedback; focus on self-development to become the best version of yourself. Pursue open and consistent communication with Tri Delta employees and volunteers. Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited university Basic knowledge of accounting principles Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools Familiarity with accounting software is a plus Excellent organizational and time-management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Ability to work in-person at Executive Office. Ability to model, explain and promote Tri Delta’s guiding principles, Purpose, and vision
Responsibilities
The intern will assist with accounts payable projects, data entry, and maintenance of accounting records. They will also help reconcile bank statements and provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
