Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our growing team. In this role, you will report to the Senior Accountant and assist with basic accounting responsibilities as detailed below. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a basic understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to think critically and problem solve. Key Responsibilities · Responsible for the daily reconciliation of point-of-sale transactions across our retail locations. · Audit and verify cash and credit card deposits to ensure alignment with reported sales. · Assist in the identification and resolution of discrepancies in a timely manner by effectively communicating with front-line associates and sales leaders. · Perform monthly reconciliations of retail bank accounts. · Assist with day-to-day accounting operations. Requirements Qualifications · Current student in a graduate or undergraduate accounting program. · Excellent organizational and time management skills. · Strong attention to detail and performs with high levels of accuracy. · Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
