Job DetailsJob Location: Waco Surf - Waco, TX 76705Position Type: SeasonalEducation Level: 2 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Accounting• Review daily bank and credit card reconciliations, AP and AR processing, and payroll entries for completeness and accuracy • Maintain and update general ledger accounts: record financial transactions accurately. • Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year end closing journal entries. • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts monthly. • Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies. • Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy. • Prepare and file sales tax and occupancy tax returns. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls. • Process AP including billings, allocations, and journal entries. • Maintain accurate logs and update financial records. • Prepare audit documentation and schedules. • Track and manage fixed assets, including depreciation. • Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate financial data. • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi entity company. • Strong knowledge of GAAP. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online • Advanced Excel and Google Sheet skills. • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. • Understanding of general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations. • Experience with intercompany elimination and consolidation processes, transfer pricing and revenue recognition. • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
