  Our finance team at Munro Footwear Group (MFG) is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager (retail experience essential) to lead the Finance Team and focus on continuous improvement projects and internal stakeholder engagement across the broader business.
  This role will see you bring your leadership and finance skills to the forefront with the ownership of the financials for month-end, statutory reporting for year-end and coordinating the interim and annual audit. As well as partnering with the wider business to drive and execute large-scale optimisation projects.
  You will report to our GM Finance and lead a team of 6, with 3 direct reports. Not only are the accountancy team a wonderful bunch, but you’ll be joining our business at a time of transformation and accelerated growth. While leading and mentoring our accounting team, you will bring your communication skills, technical skills and relationship-building skills to the forefront.

• Preparing financial statements in line with the month-end timetable
• Preparing year-end statutory reports in line with accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements
• Co-ordinating the year-end audit process by liaising with external auditors
• Partnering with the wider business to execute large-scale projects for optimisation
• Advising on financial practices and continuous improvement opportunities
