Description POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this role is to provide accounting support for the Statesville, NC manufacturing site, as well as manage all aspects of Accounting for Statesville, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory management, Cost Accounting, Cash management, Fixed Assets and the general ledger, including oversite and ownership of month end close. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The KAM Accounting Manager is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day accounting for the Statesville, NC site Manage full cycle accounting, including general ledger, financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, month end close, etc. Oversee inventory control, cost accounting, and monthly absorption calculations, as well as assist FPA group with development of annual standard rates Full ownership of Balance sheet and Income Statement Manage Fixed Asset ledgers, including depreciation schedules and monthly reconciliations. Oversee (1) direct report and provide proper training to staff as needed Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures. Support the year-end audit by coordinating responses to audit requests. Assist with integration of locations into common ERP system. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual Sales and Use tax returns for Statesville site, coordinate with Corporate Accounting as needed on tax health checks and audits Work with FP&A group as needed on financial projects and goals Assist FP&A group with month end reporting and consolidation. Requirements SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Manage all aspects of accounting ERP experience (current system is QB) Well organized and able to manage multiple projects on a routine basis Strong management, leadership, and problem-solving skills Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment Advanced Excel QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) 5+ years of accounting experience 3+ years Supervisory experience Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is required PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
