Accounting Manager
Location - Anchorage, AK
Full-time
Pay - $70,000-90,000 per year
The accountant's role encompasses overseeing and managing various financial aspects of the company, such as:
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
General ledger
Payroll
Cost accounting
Mileage accounts
Preparing for state/federal income taxes to be sent to CPAs
Handling taxes
Performing additional accounting tasks as assigned
Essential skills for the job include:
Excellent proficiency in Quickbooks
Strong skills in Excel software
Additional helpful knowledge involves familiarity with ACCESS
The accountant will lead accounting and HR functions, handling tasks such as preparing quarterly financial statements and weekly cash flow reports, conducting cost accounting for company products, ensuring financial and accounting security, analyzing generated financial data, and overseeing accounts receivable follow-up for timely customer payments.
