About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our corporate accounting team. This role will oversee key areas of the accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support complex accounting matters. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and experience handling technical accounting topics. Key Responsibilities * Manage and maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records. * Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. * Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. * Perform and document technical accounting research on complex accounting issues and prepare related memos and recommendations. * Oversee and review inventory accounting, including reconciliation, valuation, and related analysis. * Manage the lease accounting process under ASC 842, including analysis, documentation, and ongoing compliance. * Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for multiple entities. * Perform and review intercompany reconciliations and eliminations during the consolidation process. * Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes. * Support external audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and drafting corresponding footnotes. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed. * Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience. * Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting. * Experience with technical accounting research and documentation. * Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting. * Experience with inventory accounting and reconciliations. * Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and intercompany eliminations. * Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications * CPA certification or CPA candidate. * Microsoft Dynamics GP and/or Netsuite experience * Public accounting experience * Experience in a multi-entity or global organization. * Experience supporting external audits and implementing accounting process improvements. * Experience supporting or leading ERP system implementations or upgrades.
