QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-10 years of financial management experience in a small to medium sized company
  • Inventory accounting experience and offshore production
  • SaaS accounting experience and software revenue recognition
  • International accounting experience
  • NetSuite experience – participation in ERP implementation a plus
  • CPA is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for the golf industry
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As the Accounting Manager, based in Stamford, CT, you will join our growing finance department in a hands-on role with a broad set of responsibilities. The role will be working with a small staff and directly reporting to the Corporate Controller. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone with a broad accounting background with an opportunity for career growth in a dynamic environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Manage all accounting functions (general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, collections, inventory, cash management) through monthly close.
  • Manage the accounting for two international subsidiaries.
  • Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements.
  • Accounting for revenue recognition and deferred revenue for all customer transactions.
  • Selection and implementation of new ERP system.
  • Manage annual audit and income tax returns with external CPA firm.
  • Oversee Sales tax compliance and filings for all required jurisdictions.
  • Periodic reporting responsibilities to banks and investors.
  • Maintain company equity and stock records.
