SUMMARY:

The Accounting Manager is a key leader within the Finance team, combining strong technical accounting knowledge with leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. This role oversees Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring timely, accurate financial operations in line with US GAAP and internal policies. The manager is also responsible for staff development, process improvement, and supporting financial audits, compliance, and reporting.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• 7+ years in accounting, with leadership experience.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in manufacturing and consumables with strong Procure-to-Pay knowledge.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working across time zones and under tight deadlines.
• Supervisory experience required.

CORE ACCOUNTING DUTIES

• Oversee daily bank reconciliations, financial entries, and compliance with policies.
• Support ACH, B2B, and wire payments and maintain accurate aging reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams on overdue receivables and reconciliation issues.
• Review expense reports and ensure accurate integration with SAP.
• Assist with month-end close, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate sales tax filings and fixed asset management.
• Support year-end audit with reconciliations and documentation.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain strong internal controls and assist in process improvements.
• Update accounting policies and procedures.
• Other tasks as assigned.
