As our Accounting Manager, you’ll work primarily with our Controllers and offshore team of accountants, assisting B Consulting clients with various accounting and financial operations activities. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in leading client engagements and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and providing accurate data to support strategic decision-making. In this role, you'll need to manage and lead multiple client projects and communicate with clients to support their requests while also supporting our controllers. What you'll do: Perform a full cycle accounting close Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements Review the offshore team's work Lead client calls Manage client budgets Reconciliations and accrual journal entries Update financial models and cash forecasts with actuals Manage accounting activities Accounts Receivable (invoicing, collections) Accounts Payable (processing bills, set up vendors) Payroll reconciliation Sales orders Purchase orders Inventory (landed costs) Implement and use various software solutions Accounting ERPs (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) Expense management (Expensify, Ramp, Concur, Bill) Billing (Ramp, Bill) Payroll (Gusto, JustWorks, Trinet, ADP) Sales platforms (Shopify, Amazon FBA) Merchant service platforms (Stripe, PayPal) Inventory software (Cin7, Fishbowl, SOS, and others) Demonstrate a strong accounting background and knowledge of US GAAP Revenue Recognition (ASC606) Prepaid and Accrued Expenses Deferred Revenue Fixed Assets and Depreciation Lease Accounting Inventory, Manufacturing, Cost Accounting Assist with tax process and maintain compliance with government agencies (working with tax partners) Annual federal income tax returns (C Corp, LLC, S Corp) Annual State filings and Franchise Taxes Local Business Registrations & Compliance Sales and Use Tax R&D Tax Credits W9/1099 What you'll bring: Bachelor’s Degree required Concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred 7+ years of applicable experience Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting theory, principles, and practices Big 4 or national public accounting experience a plus Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, sum-if formulas, etc.) Strong communication skills Strong time management skills This is a remote opportunity.
