Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Summary: The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective management of accounting processes. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for management review.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors, and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the accounting team, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
