GENERAL SUMMARY

The Accounting Manager will oversee and serve as point of contact for all financial processes. Ensuring effectiveness of accuracy and timelines of forecasting, reporting, billing, collections, supplier payments, and other financial related processes and systems on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Providing financial support to the executive team and project managers as needed, as well as consolidating, analyzing, reviewing and reporting on all financial matters.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • At least 5 + years of experience in finance or accounting roles
  • Working knowledge of EPICOR is preferred.
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment with demonstrated time management skills.
  • Demonstrated continuous process efficiency and improvement mentality
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Management experience Preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & DETAILS:

  • Minimum BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

  • Daily monitoring of all cash accounts
  • Daily reporting of current cash status
  • Weekly cash forecasting
  • Working with factoring/banking partner, Magnolia, to obtain all possible funding
  • Managing disbursements based on cash flow & business needs
  • Manage and provide for development of junior accounting staff
  • Billing and receivable management
  • Daily communication with management and leaders
  • Expenditure planning
  • Monthly review and analysis of company financial statements
  • Special projects requested by Executive Committee
  • Review and analysis of general ledger accounts
  • Inventory valuation & review
  • Assists with preparations for audits.
  • Ensures compliance with and prepare reports according to applicable government regulations.
