Responsibilities:

Successful Senior Accountants who join our practice are analytical and procedural in their day-to-day activities. They are dependable, and the company trusts their ability to prepare and analyze all financial documents. Duties and responsibilities of a Senior Accountant may include:

  • Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS or US GAAP for clients in a variety of businesses and industries.
  • Effectively communicate within our team, with clients, and relevant government agencies.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and other members of the team and respond to requests and suggestions.
  • Full cycle accounting for clients including payroll, HST and all relevant accounting task
  • Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns and other relevant information returns.
  • Complete additional projects or related duties as required.
  • Knowledge of taxprep, caseware and full cycle audit would be preferred
