POSITION OVERVIEW

The Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance with accounting principles, and the effective management of financial operations. This role will also involve budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support tax compliance and reporting, ensuring all tax obligations are met timely and accurately.
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Utilize SAP and Quickbooks for financial management and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance management, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with auditing processes and tax compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting software, including SAP and Quickbooks.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing talent.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
