JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial management, accounting software, and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with UK financial regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and providing strategic insights to support business decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or similar) – part-qualified considered.
  • Strong digital skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Xero, and NetSuite.
  • A well-organised approach to tasks and time management.
  • A desire to grow and learn within a dynamic business environment.
  • Experience with stock management systems is desirable.

    Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software, including NetSuite and Xero.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial processes to ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational efficiency.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to assist in strategic planning.
  • Liaise with external auditors during annual audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT returns in accordance with HMRC guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations, including PAYE, Corporation Tax, and Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements.
  • Respond to HMRC queries and manage correspondence related to tax filings and financial compliance.
