Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Oversight

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP/ASPE
  • Oversee consolidated reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting inputs

Period-End Close & Audit Management

  • Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare for and manage interim and year-end external audits
  • Support Audit Committee and Board reporting preparation

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow

  • Collaborate on annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital trends, offering actionable insights

Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and internal accounting policies
  • Develop and maintain a strong internal control framework

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing accounting team
  • Foster professional development, accountability, and cross-training

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Drive improvements across ERP/accounting systems
  • Streamline processes including inventory, AP, and procurement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR, IT, and Operations to align financial strategies
  • Advise on accounting standards, policy updates, and disclosures

Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Insights

  • Deliver timely analysis and insights to senior leadership
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies and financial transparency
