Role Summary The Accounting Manager, EMEA, plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of accounting operations for assigned administrative entities within the region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial management. This position leads and develops a high-performing finance and accounting team, drives process improvements, and supports strategic initiatives that align with Marriott International’s business objectives. With a focus on compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards, efficient accounting operations, and collaboration across departments, the role is essential to maintaining operational excellence and supporting organizational growth. Experience in hospitality corporate finance or hotel accounting is highly valued for this dynamic and impactful leadership opportunity. Skills and experience we will look for in the ideal candidate to join our team: Required Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience in managing, developing, and supporting finance and accounting teams, including overseeing staff performance, fostering professional growth, and ensuring effective team collaboration. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and techniques is required. Experience with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) is strongly preferred. Comprehensive expertise in a wide range of accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, cash management, bank and balance sheet reconciliation, financial forecasting, fixed asset accounting, and VAT reconciliation.
