We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support strategic financial decision-making. Position Summary (Purpose) The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining financial integrity, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role supports financial reporting, internal controls, and team leadership across one or multiple properties or entities. Core Responsibilities (What You’ll Do) Financial Management & Reporting Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP Ensure accuracy of general ledger entries and account reconciliations Analyze financial performance and provide insights to leadership Operational Accounting Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash flow Ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses across departments and entities Monitor and enforce internal controls and accounting procedures Leadership & Team Development Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff Delegate tasks and review team output for accuracy and timeliness Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations Prepare for and support internal and external audits Maintain documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts Monitor variances and provide recommendations for cost control Partner with department leaders to align financial goals with operational strategy Qualifications (What You Bring) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-entity environments Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Paylocity, ERP systems, or similar platforms) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent leadership and communication skills Integrity and commitment to confidentiality Work Environment & Expectations Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Occasional extended hours during month-end or audit periods Collaboration across departments and properties Why Join Us Opportunity to be part of a growing, innovative hospitality organization Collaborative leadership culture focused on people and performance Competitive compensation and benefits package Professional development and advancement opportunities
