The JOB The Accounting Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day accounting activities—including general ledger management, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable—and contributing analytical support to improve financial performance. This position ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while delivering insights that help guide operational decisions. Accounting Operations Manage daily accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll support, and general ledger oversight. Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to GAAP and company policies. Maintain internal controls, audit readiness, and organized financial documentation. Oversee cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and vendor management. Support department leaders with financial questions and coding accuracy. Financial Analysis & Reporting Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses. Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting updates. Analyze trends, cost drivers, and departmental performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to leadership to support revenue growth and cost-control initiatives. Support ownership and corporate reporting requirements. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred; or a combination of education and work experience0 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; hospitality experience preferred. Proficiency in payroll, income audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, forecasting, general cashiering, and financial reporting. Experience in managing month-end cycle through balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation/analysis. Excellent administrative, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented and operate with a high degree of accuracy, initiative, and integrity. Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with a team.
