You’ll oversee a small but mighty accounting team of three, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and driving process improvements — while fostering trust, approachability, and open communication across departments. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and hands-on accounting professional to optimize systems, refine workflows, and deliver transparency for leadership and community stakeholders. Accounting Manager Responsibilities • Oversee all accounting functions, including GL, AP/AR, purchasing, fixed assets, projects, funds, and reconciliations • Prepare and review monthly financials per GAAP and HOA requirements • Lead, train, and mentor a three-person accounting team to drive accountability and improvement • Develop and document standardized procedures and internal controls • Implement and enhance financial systems for greater efficiency and accuracy • Deliver variance analysis, KPIs, and actionable insights for management • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense monitoring • Support audits and ensure regulatory compliance • Partner with IT and leadership on system upgrades and integration Accounting Manager Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience required • Supervisory or team management experience required • Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting required • Advanced proficiency (Pivot Tables, MACROS, VLOOKUP’s, etc.) in Microsoft Excel required
