Responsibilities

Seeking a proactive and experienced Part-Time Finance Manager to perform the below mentioned functions. This role combines financial leadership, hands-on operations, and team management to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight into company performance. You will lead the accounts team, maintain financial integrity, oversee reporting processes, and ensure all accounting activities align with IFRS and internal policies.
Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Utilize accounting systems (Xero) and dealership platforms to streamline processes.
- Set up bills, prepare payment summaries, and ensure timely processing of staff expenses.
- Manage financial workflows regarding oversight and payment authorization.
- Oversee management accounts, journal entries, and utility billing efficiency.
- Monitor and prioritize tasks in the Accounts Inbox for timely response and follow-up.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support senior management decision-making process.
- Overseeing daily accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll management (If required), and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies (IFRS).
- Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to CEO to provide insights on financial performance and profitability.
- Coordinating month-end and year-end closing processes and managing fixed assets and inventory accounting relevant to luxury vehicle sales and purchases.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by preparing and submitting tax filings and regulatory reports is a plus.
- Collaborating with sales, inventory, and other internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial transaction recording.
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing a team of accounting professionals to maintain high performance and adherence to policies. Organize and prioritize team and individual tasks effectively.
- Reviewing and improving accounting policies and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard assets.
- Utilizing accounting software and dealership management systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero software) to streamline processes and reporting.
These responsibilities ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced luxury automotive retail environment.
Qualifications, credentials & Experience:
- Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Management.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in the Motor vehicle industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, controlling, and financial reporting is highly desirable.
- Well know with tax principles (preferably pass F6 paper of ACCA is a plus) and holding IFRS Diploma.
- Proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Xero is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a team-first attitude.
