Description

The Accounting Manager, reporting to Manager, TPA Finance, is responsible for assisting with the oversight of the daily operations of the TPA Finance department, ensuring accurate financial records, and managing a team of several members of the Third-Party Administration (TPA) finance department. This role involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing financial reports and the effective operation of the overall TPA Finance team.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • Month-End and Year-End Close: Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage and oversee the billing functions of accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants. Provide guidance and support to ensure professional growth and adherence to best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to aid in strategic decision-making. Deliver insights and recommendations to management, including continuous evaluation of Allowance for Doubtful Accounts and conducting Risk Analysis where required
